Default Gear ratio & WHP.

Does the Gear ratio effect the amount of WHP your car creates on the dyno? Would the Same motor read more WHP on a B16 tranny then an LS tranny?
I understand that the motor itself make the same BHP with either tranny. If so, does anyone have some dyno sheets of this comparison?

Thanks

Depends on the dyno.

Depends on the dyno, as Aquafina stated. Dynapack's make the same power regardless, as they are based off of gear ratio and divides the actual torque read by the dyno by the gear ratio of the gear being dyno'd and the final drive. Dyno Jets and the others should see a difference in whp / wtq depending on the trans being used.
