So i was on a hill today, and i'm a noob at driving stick haha. some truck was on my ***. but anyways, i pulled the e-brake and when i let go of my foot brake it started slipping.

so i testd it out again on even road, and when i put in 1st and start rolling and i pull on the parking brake it doesn't stop as hard.

So my question is, Do i need to change my brake pads? or is there something wrong with my e-brake?

 

Try adjusting the ebrake handle. It's a 10mm nut that you can adjust to tighten the ebrake tension.

HIJACK!!! I have the same problem. I already adjusted the 10mm bolt all the way and the brake isn't that much stronger. What else can I do?

 

is the ebrake cable connected at all? How are your back brake pads?

 

The ebrake works, it's just no strong anymore. The cable is connected and the pads still have more than half of the friction material.
