type r rear caliper

Default type r rear caliper

i think my rear caliper went bad because the tire is hard to spin and stinks alot like brakes. wonder if i could get another caliper that is the same from another honda or acura, or it has to be a typer r caliper. any comments, need help. or how to fix it.

just ned to free it up the floater pins ..disassemble clean up, and re install most likely.

but you dont thing that the caliper piston is messed up or sum internal. cause i checked it and the pins are smooth

I have an extra right rear caliper, I'll let it go for $50 shipped.. LMK if that's the side you need, no leaks, cracked rubber boot, etc.

That is a good (shipped) price for a rear Type R caliper.

Or you can use ep3/rsx rear calipers.

You can use the bracket from the RSX, but the RSX e-brake connector is the wrong style. I have 2 rear RSX calipers in a box, because I could only use the brackets. I used calipers from an 01 Prelude. I had to bleed them off of the rotor, because of the location of the bleeder valve.

No need in buying a new caliper. You can still buy rebuild kits from
Acura for less than $20.

Brake caliper rebuild kits for the ITR.
Front: 01463 - ST7 - R00
Rear: 01473 - SV4 - 000
