Default need help...over heating issue

my car is over heating. my overflow tank is filling up with hot coolant everytime my car is warm. my temp gauge reads normal when its overflowing with hot coolant. my fan dosent come on either. it seems like the the coolant isnt circulating. my top radi hose is warm but my bottum one is cool. i took the thermostate out and it still did the same thing...any suggestion what i should do next or any suggestion of what the problem is?

your building up pressure in yoru system causing the radiator cap to open which in turn is filling your coolant resovoir.

sounds liek a head gasket issue and the exhaust gases are creating this extra pressure.

When was the last time you flushed your block? If your lower hose is cool when your top hose is hot then the water isn't circulating. Try flushing the block then fill it with coolant and water. Also, your fan doesn't turn on cuz either your sensor doesn't work or the fan doesn't work. Check them both.

Almost 3 year delay in a response - hope it didn't take all this time to solve the problem.
