Default fuse contantly blowing

I just bought a crx and it came with a Pioneer CD player. The player wasnt hooked up so i went to hook it up and someone had cut the harness off. So i found out what colors went to what and turned the car on. Nothing happened. I looked at the fuse box and replaced the 8th fuse. I turned the ignition and nothing again. Same fuse is out. I hooked all the wires up and everything. Whats up with the fuse continuously blowing? There are a few fuses missing but i dont think those have anything to do with the CD player.

look for a power wire, touching ground somehow (dangling, a copper may be touching the deck directly, tape may have come off) Check 12v to deck, remote wire to deck, ant out from deck (they all carry power...)

Do the same at the amp end..also make sure the fuse your blowing IS related to your deck (radio fuse) if it's not and ends up being headlight and you happen to have hooked up foglights...do the same check there etc. etc.
