ignitor fails repeatedly
are you using OEM igniters? When you say left and right explain? Make model and year would be helpful. ALso, do you have any aftermarket ignition devices(MSD). More info please?
replace the coil and ignitor as a set and check the the distributor bearing for wear ( red dust inside the distributor and cap ) if it does replace the whole thing.
YEAH WHAT HE SAID^^^If the coil is bad it can send the wrong voltage to the ignitor everytime and blow it. Take it to autozone and have them test the primary voltage and secondary voltage of the Coil. they can also test the ignitors. bring your haynes and look at chp5 I think electrical. If primary and secondary are not within spec even the slightest bit it can cause a fail from the coil throughout the electrical supply. Coils and Dizzys usually fail together like bad breakups
