Default civic steering column

ok im just needing to verify something, i have a 99 civic that was almost stolen and so of course the thieves broke the ignition and stuff but i temporarily put it back together but now my steering wheel, turn signal and windshield wiper levers all sit crooked. so my question being is do i need to replace my whole column or is there something else that can be done?

They may have turned the whole column. Grab a wrench and have a look at it, maybe you can adjust it back. As long as they didn't break your ignition, you should be ok and not need to buy another.

My96 hatch was broken into a couple weeks ago, i had the same problems. Easy fix, i went to the junk yard, but a whole new steering colomn, steering wheel still attached with all the components for $200. Then spent $30 at the locksmith to have the ignition cylinder work with my original key.

Everything is fixed, aligned and loks and works like it should.
