Opinions on OEM ITR struts?
I read a post awhile back that had good feedback on ITR struts with GC/H&R/Eibach/etc setups. I was wondering well the oem-R struts would hold up to 500/400 spring rates. I'm looking for something that has a stiff rebound rate. I do not want to deal with Koni's as I'd rather dump my money on Teins. Just wanted to try something that has good dampening rates and can hold up well on the track. Currently have Bilstein HD's, but the rears would have to go since they'll be replaced with ITR rear LCA's. I thought I'd give some Illuminas a try while I get some driving time at the track, but I'm hearing the oem R struts would do........can anyone clarify?
I will be suprised to see those ITR strut to hold 500/400 pounds. If they are , they are probably over damped the springs at around 250 pounds. which i doubt
WHere did u hear that?
I can only think that they are better then Maybe Si and GSR strut, but prabably Bilstein and konis will still give better damping.

I didn't mean the ITR struts would hold to my spring rates specifically, but I meant the common (standard) GC or H&R sport spring rate. Just needed to find a decent strut for the rear temporary, and replace them with Teins or true coilovers when I feel I need stiffer spring rates or not.
