Well Megan use to be crap and most of there stuff is probably still crap but I must say in the last year they have gotten better in the suspension area...

They came out with an EP3 specific coilover with straight arms which would basically cure all problems that the car has when lowered too much! So I think they have stepped it up...

For the most part I have driven cars with them and they drop nice... but the only thing is how will they hold up and for how long??? That I wouldn't be able to tell you but I would try them out!

I have them on my DA paired with Illuminas (on softest setting) and they do handle pretty smooth but once you start to lower to the point where it tucks tires on 16's, then they'll be very harsh.

I had them for three years now and they haven't given me any probs until recently when I went lower then the ride got bumpy and harsh.. but then again.. most of my bushings are fcuked...

lol completely different.

They are not sleeve coilovers, but full coilovers and the suspension design is completely different so you can't really compare the DA to the EP

I am a retailer of Megan products and sell there coilover for almost everything, I have never had a problem with any of the full coilovers I have ever installed. We have ran them on our personal drift cars and drag cars. If there is any problems and you purchased them from a legit dealer they will take care of you if any issues accure during warranty period. And from what I heard they are made in the same factory as some of the more expensive name brand coilovers are made

We installed a set on a local guys EP3 and was very happy with the ride quality.

I may be in the future trying out a set on my personal EP down the road

That's good to hear ^^ Possibly a good option for those that are really low and can use that straight arm they have.

The OP didn't really state whether his questions were for sleeved or full Megan coilovers. But then again.. yup I don't have the slightest clue about EP suspension designs.. maybe you guys can't use sleeved coilovers?

Yes but they put a little more R&D into their product when they made a specific coilover just for the EP3 which to me get a BIG THUMBS UP!!!!

Megan only makes full coilovers for the EP, no sleeves.

And we're in the DC5/EP3 forum so...yeah....
