Classic Motorsports Mag article on the ITR being a future classic...
Nice little article on the USDM DC2 ITR being a future classic. For anyone that have had their ITR stolen and need some type of way to gauge the true value of their car this may give your insurance adjuster better insight as to it's true worth. Good to see the ITR gaining notoriety outside the typical tuner mags.
"Put these cars in your garage today, before their values skyrocket."

If you are wondering what other cars they SPECULATE will be future classics:
88-91 BMW E30 M3
90-97 Mazda Miata
84-95 Ferrari Testarossa/512TR
83-84 VW Rabbit GTi
75-85 Ferrari 308 GTB
78-89 Porsche 911 SC and Carrera
79-85 Mazda RX-7
1995 Ford Cobra R
80-81 Triumph TR8

I recently had a discussion with my insurance company about my R.
I had them inspect as they said they wouldn't put full-coverage on it untill they saw it.
So I had them look it over, they said it was in good to excellent condition(HA! Is what I said when they said that. If you've seen it you know why. It's not. Well to me anyways.)
I asked them how they would go about paying me for the car if it was stolen or totalled. They told me they would base if off the value of the car. I asked, how so.
Then they said they based it off NADA and KBB.
Told them to try to find a dollar figure for the R model Integra(as they called it). They go, o, we didn't realize it was infact a R model.
Hrmm...
They told me it would be based off finding another vehicle in similar condition.
Back to the topic at hand.
I'm enjoying mine as it has been raped by theives. It is modified and I will drive it like it was meant to be driven.
If collector car insurance would look my way, I'd LOVE to get their insurance.
I'd also sell one of my ***** to have a E30 M3.

i dont need a stupid magazine to tell me what i already know. the ITR has every component from parts to mystique and heritage that steers it in the direction of "classic". you have to be an IDIOT and a poser "car-nut" to deny what is inevitable...and blatantly obvious.
down the line "stock" and original "usdm" parts will spike the value of your itr, besides condition, mileage blah blah blah.

so who wants to own my future classic car. $14k. only 39k miles
but thats really cool. glad to see its not just the honda community that continues to see its value
