I was going on the freeway and I was going from 1st to 2nd. I couldn't get into 2nd gear.(I was punching it on the onramp) While the clutch was depressed there was a rattle coming from my tranny. You could feel it from the pedal. Now all of a sudden I can't get into gear at all. If i do get it into gear, I really have to force it in.

I actually made it home, but now I can't get into any of the gears. When I try when the motor is running, it sounds like the motor wants to stall. When the motor is off, I can get into all the gears fine.

Could it be my throw out bearing just blew up in my tranny? Or could it be something else?

HELP!!!!

PS. It's a EG hatch with a ITR motor. All is stock.

 

Sounds to me like your pressure plate took a **** on you.
