Default Is it OK to put a 96-00 AEM intake on an EM1??

hello i have an em1 (vtec), is it okay to put a cold air intake meant for 94-00 civics that are without vtec? i have it on my car now and it seems like it drives fine but i dont want to ruin anything if it does. thanks!!

okay so just making sure i dont have to buy the 99-00 civic si aem intake that is meant for my car right? and even if i did would it have made a difference?

an intake, is an intake really as long as it clears the hood or strut bar; and doesnt sit into the motor and can get cold air.

it wont hurt anything mechanically, but you may have fitment issues as the 2 cars have different engines obviously. But all you can do is try and fit it in there. If it dont fit, give me a heads up and ill buy it off you.

If you can get it fitted it shouldn't be a problem. I have a "vtec intake" on my non vtec Civic and it works just fine...
