Icon2 Need Quick Answer to a EZ D-Series Question ???

How ez is it to put in a D15b7 or D16Y7 to replace my blown D15b8 in my 92 eg CX hatch ??? Do I have to do any crazy wiring or change my ecu. Im not done my B20 turbo build yet so I need a temporary motor in there for maybe one more year. So i figure i put a tad bit more horse from a better but no where near great non vtec motor. Just wanted to drop it in plug up and go with no hassle with wires or engine codes.

Switch everything over from the b8 to the motor of choice. That simple.

yeah, basically that, but if your car is dualpoint, you will have a little work. If you use the stock inyectors and parts, you simply lay down the y7longblock and are good to go, if you want more power, then you will need to length a few wires

the y7 has just as shitty of an intake system, so just keep the intake from the b8, or toss a z6 intake on.
