Default D15 = how much horsepower
my friend has a d15 motor with short ram intake obx muffler and msd super conductors plug wires. how much power do you guys think he has ?

Take the stock HP, 98 correct? Plus or minus 2-5 from that... Done.

Here is my estimate, 92 HP... Ewww...

From the mods this guys has, it appears the engine might not be properly tunned. I assume he doesn't spent much (or no) time replacing parts and tuning up the engine. IMHO, asking this question is a waste of time...

a d15b7 has 102hp max.. with those little mods.. i'd guess like 105hp

If you're not going to go all out and build the motor, intake and ignition wires isn't going to do much for your already weak d15.

His motor is still stock.

Keep in mind theres about a 30% power loss, and all the numbers that Honda throws out, like 102HP for the D15B7 are indeed at the flywheel..... so yeah its actually like <70 HP >_<
