Default 93 eg rear right flasher problem

yesterday i was driving and when i put my foot on the brake my right flasher light in the cluster lit up when i put the flasher to turn right it flashes normal but when i press the brakes it flashes fast and the rear light dies out the left side is fine with no problems just wondering what this may be and if anyone has dealt with this problem i tried changing the little harness for the light and all the bulbs today and the problem hasnt stopped and when it is working for some odd reason the brake light acts as the flasher(yes the lights are in the right spot!)so how could my wiring turn itself around like that the problem is getting to me cause the cops stop me alot as it is someone help me out please lol

You have a loose, broken, or disconnected ground wire in the rear. This rear ground wire is common to the brakes and turn signal lights.

Hatch (G771) or sedan (G554)?
