front end of an ek hatch shaking violently on the interstate
So we're ridin down I-10 in my hatch and the front end was noticebly shaking like crazy. Its like, coasting down a hill or something is fine, but as soon as there's a load or any strain on the car it starts to shake hard core. Anyone got any ideas of what this could be? Txt me bc the internet on my phone is slow as hell. 8507581214. Thanks, any ideas are appreciated
Ive had that on my del sol, it was my algnment, around 80mph it shook like crazy.
Adjusted my toe, and went to an alignment shop, problem solved.

just to be clear
a wheel balance would NOT fix the problem right away so when someone says "YOUR CAR IS SCREAMING FOR A WHEEL BALANCE" it doesn't mean the problem would be fixed.
even though they explain the wheel balance theory very specifically, it still wont fix the problem right away.
although you can check with wheel balance first then if the problem doesn't go away then do the alignment.

Third that.
Axles don't always visually go bad, but look around your CV boots and see if any of them are torn and leaking. If it's only vibrating under load, I'll almost bet on one of those rather than a wheel balance, bent rim, or broken suspension component.

yea it def only does it under load. and at certain speeds it goes away. should i go ahead and change em both or just the driver side one?
if your axles arent ripped the other way to check if its bad is turn your wheel all the way one way and accellerate if you hear like a metal clicking then its the axle, try both ways, if one way makes that noise your gonna need to replace them. easy job.
