i ordered the NGK BKR7-11 's for my motor. I got the IX series (iridium) They showed the iridium's as a higher performer than the standard BKR7-11's.... Had to pay 9.50 for shipping though direct from NGK.

6s run a little white in a jdm itr. not dangerously so but i personally like the look of the burn on the 7 iridiums that i have in there now. 8s are more of a boosted or 12:1+ compression plug. 7 is the oem heat range if anyone didn't know.
This is an old thread anybody's car still running? I use DENSO IK22G but I did just order NGK BKR7E-11. I like both. Platinum work too NGK PFR7G-11 The Iridium run smoother but the copper has more power. IMO what can I say I'm a Libra I'm indecisive

Took the R with this motor in it to work this morning! Still running strong!
You can run the newest NGK ruthenium 7's from the RSX Type S. They have the finest tip of all NGK plugs and a projected platinum ground tip. They don't cost much from rockauto either. Less than the Iridium.
I contacted NGK to make sure they were identical to the factory Laser Platinum and Iridium 7s for the DC2.
