Amber bulbs in cluster?
I'm just trying to clarify if the jdm itr cluster and climate controls have just plain white bulbs like the usdm ones and that it uses a colored film in front of the bulbs that gives it the amber color? I need to replace some bulbs since some don't work unless I smack the dash and part of my cluster is dim. I can barely read the miles on the cluster. Thanks for your help guys.
i remember i had to change the bulbs on my jdm cluster and they were the regular plain white bulbs like the usdm cluster.
hmm i remember at the time a friend suggested replacing them with raybrig ones cuz they where brighter? iono how true that is tho

the actual gauge plastic is tinted to be amber. i found this out one day by placing a JDM ITR tach in a USDM GSR cluster. well, i had an amber tach and white cluster.
what type of bulb is needed? I got a blown bulb where the water temp it. Is it just me or is it a bit*h to get the cluster open? I tried to figure out how to fix my trip because the reset button doesn't work.
Like i said in my original post, i have to smack my climate control to get the left four buttons that direct where you want the air flow to turn on. Do you guys think its possibly a loose bulb or if i were to replace them it would work fine??
