I had an auto-x event sunday morning and left with no problems. all of a sudden that night im driving and i notice a slight ticking noise coming from 2nd gear only. i continue to use 2nd gear to to see what happens and if i can figure out what it is... within 5 minutes of going through the gears i gets significantly worse, it is a really loud clacking noise now and still only in 2nd gear, but it goes in and out of gear and drives perfectly fine and normal, just the loud noise. .... i hear it during acceleration, slow or fast, and when i left off the gas coming to a stop it clacks... any ideas on what it is?
btw, this is the 5spd EP3 tranny

i havent had time to tare it down, will be starting that tonight... i have never worked on a tranny before so im not sure what to be looking for once i crack it open.
