popping noise while braking?

Default popping noise while braking?

When ever i brake i hear a popping noise coming from the front of the car. just wondering what it might be? axle(s)?

Could you be more specific? Is it a clocking? Does it do it when you turn the wheel? Noticed any difference in the way the car drives/rides/accelerates?

sometimes when turning it sound like theres something stuck and hit everytime im going but i cant see anything im thinkin its the axle but mine doesnt always do it

sometimes it does it while i turn but not always. it seems to drive fine so idk.

a popping noise, especially when turning, it sounds like its the wheel bearing

dont know why it would do it during breaking, unless that is putting added pressure on the assembly

but i heard that on car-talk...

am having a similar problem with a friends eg, had an obvious cv prob, so fixed that, but that wouldnt pop while breaking, sound like your elbow poping execpt much more loud. happens at the end of breaking semi hard like right before the car comes to a complete stop, am also having the same thing happen on my da but much less intense any help would be welcome

i hear a noise when i turn and straighten the wheel back out while braking too. i was told its my worn out steering rack?

try checking your break pads their probably cracked and thats whats probably making the noice!!
