Assembly Lube or Oil for Freshly Hone Cylinder Walls?

Default Assembly Lube or Oil for Freshly Hone Cylinder Walls?

I wasnt sure if a freshly honed cylinder walls and new pistons needs assembly lube or should I just use regular oil?

right after i honed my cylinder i imediatly wiped them down with gear oil on a rag.
if oil is not placed on the walls then they will rust very quickly.
when assembling use 30w
