Default 98' Civic LX Electrical Problem/ Headlights burn out / Blinkers don't blink

So here is the story behind it all: One day my car started to smell like rotten eggs, and I couldn't find the problem. I then realized it was the battery leaking a little acid. So the next day I decided to just drive my car 8 miles to get to a autozone or parts store to get a new battery. As I was driving on the freeway, my car started to fail and the battery just died and my car just stalled and so I pulled over on the freeway and got towed home. When I got a new battery, my car started fine. But my power locks weren't working, my right front and back blinker wasnt working, my brake lights werent working, and my low beams werent working. I immediately checked my fuses and they were all fine, except for my power locks fuse under the hood. It was burned out, so I put a new fuse in it and it burned out right away. Checking the lights, all were burned out. I replaced them all. and my headlights went out again! My blinkers & hazards also now dont blink but stay on when in use! I also just realized and connected the dots. All the lights I used at the time my car failed, blew out(right blinkers, headlights, brake lights). I don't know if that has to do with it but at this point what do i do and what is the problem?

Thanks

The smell of rotten eggs is the sign that you regulator failed so u was over charging.
since the regulator is built in the alternator.
over charging the electrical over 16v can lead to alot of problems.
so 1st thing first replace the alternator till then do not run you car.

The voltage regulator inside the alternator is likely bad, causing large electrical surges. This killed your last battery and will kill your new one and possibly your entire electrical system if you don't fix the the problem.
