lost brakes while driving
i was like what the f*** HAPPEN!!! i was driving in town and i was getting to a stop sign, so u know your brain clicks and your like ooo i got to start braking, the car wasnt stoping i thought it was all in my head!!!!! i was stomping on the brakes and it didnt work so all i did was down shift and gun it!!!!!! i know stupid right it was the only thing i could do!!!! i mist the car by like 2 car lenghts.... so i changed the master cylinder bleed the lines and still the same!!!???

noob man ive been around cars my hole life, the pads and disk and new! everyone checks the brake fuild you dont have to be in hondas or acuras to look at that first...

ummm that's what the emergency brake is for - emergency situations like that. Did that not even occur to you to use that to slow down and stop instead of just running through the stop sign?

Is there anything different with the pedal feel? Is the pedal normal, hard,soft, go to the floor? If the car takes a lot of pressure it might be that you lost your vacume booster. You could always check for a cracked vacume hose to th booster. I need more information to help any more, that is the first thing that came to my mind.
Weird and sort of a thread jack but this same **** happened to me about 1 hour ago what a coincidence! . Worst thing was that it happened on a freeway interchange right before a sharp turn! I down shifted but took that 25 mph turn at ~60!! Good thing my suspension is modified and it wasn't too big of a deal. Used the e-brake to get the car home.
Now debating whether to replace all of my lines with steel braideds or just replace that one hose...

it was to close, if i would of used the e brake i would of maybe ended up in the middle of the street... but good thing i didnt crash...... the car was put away for a year last i remember it ran like a 5 cent hooker. i had to to save money for and other things...
and ya "dantamparacer" its soft, and last i remember i wasnt that soft. it was the vacuum hose it had a small leak. its workin better the pedel feels a bit harder... so i think that was that... thanks for the advise "dantamparacer" and "xd69" get that **** fixed man good thing you were on an open road. take a look at that
