Default Swapping JDM D15B Into EK Hatch

Im buying a jdm d15b for my 96 dx hatchback. I have Some questions. As far as wiring im buying obd2a to obd1 ecu jumper harness, dizzy adapter, and vtec subharness, and i have a p28 with hondata s100. My questions are...

If i put the p08 map on my p28, can i run the 4 wire o2 sensor and not throw a code since im running p08 maps?

What about vtec pressure switch on the d15b? Ive read that they have one and ive read that they dont. Which is it?

First..why are you even bothering with that motor? Its almost costs as much to ship it here than it does to buy..well..more like half but still...I think HMotors had them for like $500 + 250 shipping dependent on where you live...and if you're doing it for VTEC..then you could Mini-Me for cheaper and with money left over do some other fun things..maybe some head work or somethin..

im doing it because my d16y7 is burning oil and my transmission has a bad ISB. They are low mileage motors. Id rather not buy a 150k motor or a random junkyard motor. I like having piece of mind that i have a fresh motor. Im not buying from HMO, they are sold out. I'll be picking it up from tigerjapanese and i can get motor and tranny shipped for 790.00

A Friend of mine swapped one into his EJ1, has I/H/E...doesnt even hang with my Y8..yet it could be driver dependent. However...depending on why he is doing the swap should help. If he's doing it just for VTEC...whats the point? is a Mini-Me not cheaper for the same result?

I couldn't Justify paying $750 for a D-Series VTEC...I have one..and I dont think its worth that much...you could start building a home made turbo kit off that much..or as I said..Mini-Me. Z6 Oil pump, Y8 Head, Cam, IM, etc...for cheaper and still have money to I/H/E it or if you already have the D-Series parts to I/H/E work on something that gets a little bit more power

yeah D15b's are very strong, my friend has one in his Ej1, he kept up with me in my D16y8, then he slowly pulled ahead.
But isn't it hard to pass Bar/Ref **** when you have a older engine on a newer car?
I heard you can only swap a motor thats newer or same year then the car.
True?
