Icon2 B16 swap question

Wuddup Fellas

I have got a new hatch with a d16 motor in it and I was really want to a b16 swap. I was wonderin if it would be better to go with a b16 setup all the way or if I should keep the block and swap the head and get a lsd tranny. Any ideas.....

I did think it would fit up until the point when you said it like that. I thought everybody was doing these frankenstein motors with smaller blocks for more compression. Am I horribly wrong in this idea.

I have checked hmotorsonline and was just wondering if anyone knew any better sites.

Does anyone know if the b16 completes come with a/c and power steering?

get the b16 swap from hmotors i have the 2gen and its a blast just have some bolt ons and pulleys, they do come with powerstearing, no a/c as it more then likely wouldnt fit your car. It all depends on what type of civic you drive for the a/c, ask for the hydro tranny with lsd, y21 its what i have and its nice, only downside is my clutch went after 20,xxx miles should of replaced it when i bought the motor, but its only 115 shiped for a exedy one, there motors come with 100% start up warrenty just as long as you replace water pump oil pump, sensors dont come broke and **** mine came brand new looking and runs great.

Nice, definently looking at the 2nd gen, but what's the difference with the hydro tranny?

Will the ac fit in my 94 si hatch? If so, will the acfrom my d16 work

Dallas did you replace those pumps are just throw it in?

What's the shipping on there motors?

92+ Civics have Hydro 'assisted' clutches, Pre 92 civics and pre 94 integras used cable operated clutches. You 'need' a hydro transmission for your 94 SI hatch for it to bolt in/operate correctly/easily basically.

AC from your D16 will not work, B-series motors use different compressors...

As well as they use different axles, shift linkages, transmissions, and a number of other parts, Click the link in my signature to get an idea of just what you need, and how much work is involved in a B-series swap.
