Default Turbocharged 125R

if would be fun to squeeze out some more power, especially when they are advertised at $2,999 OTD locally!

Has it been done??

it would prob cost more than you'd gain but i would love to turbo a bike. i just love the feeling that FI brings.

id love to do make a naked turbo busa like ghost rider has, not because i'll be as skilled to control it, but just for the fact of having a 500hp bike.

Mmm...maybe getting a 250 or 500 with the same, or even more HP than a turbo'ed 125 for the same or less amount of money?

Also take into account: reliability, usable power, less peaky powerband...

It would be cool to have something that ultra-light with some decent power though........

I suppose with a small enough turbo you could make decent power and still maintain a friendly power band, but it's easier and probably cheaper to just swap in a bigger engine.

Two-stroke conversion might be interesting.

i believe these bikes come factory tuned with just about all the power you could get out of it. anymore hp and the motor couldn't take it and it would just blow. i wanted to turbo my sv650s but had that problem.

the best swap would be like a CRF 250/450 motor or something, i bet getting it to fit wouldnt be that hard, and the thing would fly
