bleeding clutch????? help guys
well i know but i heard something about having to use a vacc pump. so idk i tried doing just liek you would bleed breaks. but it didnt work. i didnt build pressure
You bleed the clutch through the clutch slave cylinder. Put clear (see-through) tubing in a bottle of fluid and watch for air bubbles.
The basic procedure is, someone pumps the clutch pedal and holds it down. Then you unscrew the bolt at the clutch slave cylinder and watch for bubbles. Once no bubbles are there you're done. Once the fluid stops pouring out, you screw the bolt back on and release the clutch pedal. You have to watch the fluid at the clutch master cylinder so that it doesn't drop below the "minimum" mark. Then you repeat the steps by holding the clutch pedal and then bleeding the clutch.
Not hard.
