Default emergency $$$auto trans question

i got my gfs 92 da integra just a plain ls and its automatic. her tranny exploded so i got her a 99 integra auto ls tranny. the shop just called me saying it was too big and woulodnt fit. are they jerkin me around? anyone else successfully do a newer automatic swap? wtf?! guess im looking for confirmation. yes i used search and found nothing lol thanks

Cable to hydraulic has nothing do with an auto tranny. Im thinking everything should bolt up. Its just if the electronics are the same...

You don't have a clue about what you're talking about do you? I'd cut you some slack if you didn't realize it was an automatic, but you've clearly aknowledged that you do. The cable/hydro designations you see so often on H-T refer to how the clutch is engaged/disengaged, you know that thing that automatics don't have.

Nontheless it still wont fit. '92 obviously works, looking through wiring diagrams it looks like '91 also works, '90 and '93 both don't appear to due to wiring issues, and '94 - '01 definately wont work.
