05 Type S won't start
I havn't been on here in years but I have no idea what is going on with my rsx. It has been having a hard time starting for some time now, sometimes it kicks right over and other times it takes 10 seconds of cranking. A few weeks ago it wouldn't start at all so I bump started it a few times and finally got it on and drove it to the shop.
The shop replaced the crank sensor because it was shutting off on me on the way to the shop and then they put in a new fuel pump because it was 4 PSI under. The car fired right up and I took it home. It worked for about 2 days.
On the 3rd day it was very hot and I parked right in the sun. It took about 15 seconds to start the car this time. Once it started it was fine. I parked my car under some shade for the night and the next day and went out to start it, and it started fine so I drove to work. After sitting in the sun all day again it wouldn't start for about 15 seconds.
Cliffs:
When car is hot inside it won't start right away, fuelpump and crank sensor have been replaced
I used to have a prelude and I know this same type of issue was caused by the main relay but I don't see anyone on here having main relay issues when I searched. Anyone have any idea of the cause? could it be the main relay?

If you are cranking the car for 15 minutes and it still cranks, then its not your battery. A bad battery will not crank for more than 1 minute before it dies. I would check the 3 fundamentals. #1 is Air, which you should have out where you are, just kidding. # 2 Fuel, just pull out a fuel hose running to the rail and crank and see if your pumping good pressure. #3 Spark, make sure the spark plugs are good and your ignition system is firing on all cylinders. Check all these before you check anything else. Let me know what happens.

It was acting up again tonight, once I get it started the first time or 2 the car goes to idle after revving it, the RPMs drop to like 400 and it hesitates for a few seconds when pressing the gas. After about 2 minutes this goes away and it drives fine the rest of the time. The shop is pretty reputable in the area but if I cant figure anything else out I guess it will have to go to the stealership
Has to be some kind of sensor. I know you said you replaced the fuel pump...did you actually hook up a gauge and test fuel pressure while trying to crank the car with the new fuel pump installed?
