In the market for a Type-R......(I know im bad)...
I know I know this isn't tech talk, but Im seriously in the market for an Integra Type-R. That being said I have a few simple questions that relate solely to the Type-R. First were the USDM Type-R's produced in 1995,1996,1997,1998,2000, and 2001, I don't give a damn what color I get but all colors where available every year? Also do all Type-R's have the true DC2 designation within the vin? Also I want an ALL STOCK ITR nothing else and I just moved to Louisiana from VA and generally I saw ITR's go anywhere for 13k to 18k in VA. I checked KBB for a value but it couldn't give me one lol cause its such a rare whip. So hypothetically speaking if I found a all stock 1998 CW ITR with 50,000 miles on it what would be a reasonable price?
Thanks, also any other info that would help me please post.

in the us, they were available in 1997, 1998, 2000, and 2001
1997 and 1998 were championship white, and 2000 were flamenico black and phoenix yellow, 2001 were nighthawk black pearl and phoenix yellow
yes a real itr vin will start jh4dc231
look at the stickied thread at the top with the type r's for sale, that will give you a good idea of what they go for, as most in there are asking fair prices

A '98 ITR with 50k in stock condition could go anywhere from 12k -20k. I know that's a broad range but it depends on the seller, title condition, and the overall condition of the vehicle.
It's difficult these days to find an untouched '98 ITR with 50k on it with the stock motor, nevermind unabused/unmolestered. You will have better luck finding a stock 00-01 ITR being that there were more produced in each of those years then in '97 and '98. Goodluck with your search.

agree with most the others. there are deals to be had and i've came across decent DD ITR's for as little as 8k. usually have a bad title and a few missing pieces but the deals are great. all stock perfect condition cars always will fetch top dollar since so few exist and the demand is there.

lol, hardly. i picked a stock '98 up with 38k miles, clean title, 2 owners, pristine condition last november. i didn't pay anywhere near 17k. that is an insane price!! it seems to me that the only people that think they're worth that much are people that don't have 'em and aren't looking to buy, and those that have no intentions of selling 'em anyway.
