automantic tranny have Problem.

Default automantic tranny have Problem.

1993 honda civic lx auto non-vtec 4dr.The car starts. Put the car in gear, won't go. Sometimes it go and sometimes it don't go. drain and flush the tranny. Still the same. wtf is going on? help....

im no tranny expert but sounds like your buying a new tranny.
any cels?? if so pull the codes and post them up

beat on it? high mileage? My auto has nearly 200k miles on it and it still shifted great

BTW im doing a manual swap, so my auto is up for sale

but look into fixing you tranny if possible. check the throttle cable, there is a secondary one off the throttlebody that leads to the lower front of the tranny. adjust if it feels loose.

I dont know what the top thing does (looks like two solenoids) on top under the distributor. maybe that connector is loose? I dont know what its purpose is, but there are lots on ebay.

and finally, drain a little fluid out and run a magnet through it. just drain like 1/4 a liter out. if its full of metal debri, you have issues.

if all above check out, your torque converter may be bad, in which case I come in lol.

Mine works perfectly, tranny shifted great, no hesitation.
