Okay, I had to take off the drive side knuckle because I had a fucked-up lower ball joint. Anyways, the whole thing including the caliper had to be taken off. Everything is back on, but when I step on the brakes, the gauge instrumentation lights come on?! Also, with the lights on (no stepping on brakes), my THIRD brake light is on.

Now, did I do something wrong when I put the caliper and pads back on the car? This is some fucked up ****...Oh, I didn't drive it yet because I might have blown piston rings!!!!!

 

do you have an alarm?
make sure all the wires to the alarm are all plugged in correctly

 

that sucks...sounds like a wiring issue that has nothing to do with your braking system. check your grounds and your fuses.
