woot! 25,000 for a used 00 with 35k with a used motor?
Um, no offense to you or your friend but you'll be lucky to get half of that out of that car. I bought my 97 (in mint condition with the original motor) with 32k on it in 99 for under 17k.
Your friend wants more than they were new for his used prelude? I don't care what aftermarket parts he has it's not worth that. Aftermarket parts aren't worth dick on a car, take them off and sell them. Plus he's been through 3 motors. Even if it was because of the SC there is still no way anyone should pay that much for a car with a used motor in it.
BTW it's a base prelude (you can tell by the rims, which appear to be on backwards) and you can tell by the gauges it's an auto (which is not an option on the SH). Good luck selling an auto to someone for that much, eveyone I ever seen who has bought an auto prelude hated it so there are a lot of auto preludes for sale.
Good luck though, if you do find someone that stupid let us all know. That way we can sterilize them before they breed.

anyway. dealer wanted to give him 17 for it. he wants more than that. if you give him 18 im sure hed be happy. obvously hed like to get as much as he can for it.

1) as stated before no one cares about aftermarket parts, they arent worth anything, worth more to remove them and sell them seperately
2) 3 MOTORS IN 35,000 MILES, AND ESPECIALLY ON A HONDA!!!!!! WHAT THE F_CK!!!!!!!!!!!!
3) doesnt matter if the current motor is brand new, the fact is all the stress that was put on the previous 2 motors is still on the rest of the car (suspension, brakes, tires) god only knows what other kinds of maintenance that car is screaming for.

when he does sell it, tell him go buy a crappy beater with half the money, and use the other half for driving lessons. cause anyone that has blown that many engines on a honda with low mileage doesnt know what they are doing.
