i have a 91 inetgra d.a. with a b18 a1. so ya its all stock.. but ya i broke my transmission. and im about to go buy another 1. but 1st i need to know wat kinds of transmissions will work on my car. cuz my friend has a b20 that he said he would let me get but im not sure if his transmission will work that good so help me out. SOME !!!! PLEASE!!

any B-series Cable transmission will work. 90-93 usdm/jdm integra or 89-91 JDM civic (w/b16). If you want to spend more money and go a little quicker get a transmission off of a car that had vtec. the gears are shorter. 92-93 GSR would be the easiest to find. good luck.

It's actually probably easier to find a jdm b16 cable tranny than a 92-93 gsr one. Either one would be a nice upgrade if you don't mind being at higher rpm cruising on the freeway.

LS cable trannies are a dime a dozen, you can find good ones for cheap.

If you want to use your current clutch you have to get a 91-earlier tranny with the smaller input shaft. Any 92-93 tranny would require a different clutch disk.

The hydraulic tranny that I'm assuming is attached to your friend's b20 would require a hydro conversion kit from a company like innovative or hasport, which isn't cheap and I've heard mixed reviews.
