i heard gc/koni were good but i also was thinkin about tein basic..which one is better/more reliable?
give me ideas please..cheap places to get these things..kinda a newb in the suspension area..sorry

my suspension setup on my EG
is ksport full coilovers, skunk2 LCA, ASR subframe bar with sway bar, and a beaks tie bar

only thing for 500 your
gonna get it ground controls

 

yeah $500 isn't going to get you anything really nice. You can't get just ground control sleeves, because it will make your car ride like *** on stock shocks. Honestly I'd just wait until you have a bigger budget. Thats what I'm doing.

saveing up is the best thing. but there is noithing wrong with ground control coilovers.
look at skunk 2, you can get the pro s full coilover for a little bit more then 500, however there is noithing wrong with tein.

 

You can get the skunk2 pro s on ebay for $690 obo. I just ordered mine 2 days ago.

 

tein basic is garbage. anything from tein that's not monotube is garbage. tein basic are soft as ****. if your looking for something "stiff" don't go with basic.
