Curious exactly what b series dohc engine this is.

Thanks

I have a chance to buy this at auction. What is the max you would bid if you were me knowing that...the history of the engine is unknown. I am trying to buy it to flip/sell with reccomending a taredown to the buyer. Max bid for me???

Judging by the intake manifold, most likely a GSR. But who knows.

If it did come from a '93 Integra, it's a B17A1, in other words, a '92-'93 GSR.

I don't think the B17 GSR's came with the dual stage intake manifold that the '94-'01 GSR's came with. It also has a B16A Si valve cover.

Well it has to be a B18C1 head if that intake manifold is on there, since the bolt pattern is different for that particular IM. Who knows what block it is, since it doesn't show the block code. But it's most likely a B18C1 block, because no one in their right mind would put a B18C1 head with that IM on any other block.

Maybe the website just got the years mixed up and thought the 3rd gen Integras started in 1993.

Or maybe it was recovered from a 93 Integra that had a B18C1 swap or something.

Guys...Ill be bidding on this tomorrow morning. I am newer to Hondas. I come from Subies but I know what a b18c1 is etc. etc. I know how much these cost retail and how much they go for on the forums. But.....

My question is...how much should I bid as a max???? Keep in mind that I don't and will not know whats lurking inside the block or the overall condition of the engine.

Thank you for everyone's help. Was hoping to get lucky and get an itr motor
