2000-2001 ITR cams are "exactly" the same cams as the CTR

There is no "best" cam.

Aftermarket like skunk make more power, and have larger cam profiles that make more power, but they make it with higher compression, and often need better valve springs too.

OEM Type R cams were the best factory ones made.

what cam makes the most power? You'd need 12.5:1 plus compression and run a set of C or D Toda cams, they make crazy power, but aren't very good for the street.

your going to need more then cams than...... I say get the ctr if your going to stay stock..... but if your going to do head work(valves valvesprings and retainers) then some toda b or skunk2. if your going to do the head might as well do the block..... your looking at alot of work.. puttiing just cams in your car is not going to make it crazy fast, if you gaine 11-15 Hp on cams is alot........

theres tons of info here bout cams. do alil more research. we all can tell you what to do but its up to you. if you're getting anything aftermarket than you will need upgraded valve train. also, you dont want too aggressive cams either unless you have the parts to accomendate them, such as intake, IM, headers, ect...

if you dont wanna mix and match stick to whats been proven, such as skunk2, toda, spoon, buddy club, brian crower, crower, ect... just depends how deep your pockets are.

also, after these upgrades you will definetly need a tune, which cost more money...like i said do alil more reading. it will help you out. gl.
