Default tire clearance

hey guys i'm new to this so i need some help
i have a 99 civic and i lowered my car about 2.0 inches and i just put some rims on it. the rims size is 17x7 and i have 205/40 17 tires on it and it seems to rub but it does seem to be the rubbing on the outer wheel well. i'm guessing it something around the back of the wheel well area but not sure..plz help

yea pretty much anyone running a lowered car with 17" wheels is having this problem, there are a few things you can do to fix it:
1. If u want to keep ur wheels, Roll your fenders.
2. Get smaller wheels
3. Raise your car back up
4. Cut out your fenders, add flares and get a camber kit (not sure if this would work or how it would look, but i have thought about it)

You could also try beefin up your suspension with stiffer springs/struts. perhaps sway bars.

i have 17" enki rs6 and i had the same problem. i corrected the camber and got lower rear controll arms from specialty products and it still was rubbing a tiiiiiny bit so i just took off the little rubber sleve on the fender lip and it was fixed.
