Icon6 need some mpfi swap info

i did the swap and car will not start had gone over all my wireing and every thing is in the right spot and im geting fuel but im not geting any spark but im geting power up to the dizzy ...so does any one know how musch voits should be heading to the dizzy ...and i replaced the dizzy with two used one that i was told are good now could me not get spark be from bad dizzy cap or wires ...so if some one could point me in the right way it would help alot thanks

Do you have all your grounds hooked up? maybe a fuse is blown somewhere to.?

yea i ck the grounds and as far as i know i did not miss any and i ck all under hood fuse and they are all good

So does any one know how much volts should be coming from the wiring or could it just be bad cap spark plug wire. Because I had hooked
Up my timeing light and did not get any thing

unless you saw the dizzy's working dont second guess your work.

dizzy's are one of the biggest pains in the *** with these cars i find, aside from the main relays aswell.

is it just spark your not getting?
all the stuff was switched around like normal and you added the extra ecu wire to the dizzy?

Try switching the white wires around at the dizzy.

Yea I add the for wires from the ecu and have gone over all other wiring for the dizzy....the cars not getting spark but is getting power
Going to the dizzy and I got a new coil pack but still no spark .....so I'm thinking its my dizzy but I want to rule out every thing

You will not get spark if they are backwards.

you could try the dpfi dizzy cap, rotor, and wires if they were still good.
if you think that could be it?

Well right now I have the stock cap and wires on the car and I tried it with the cap I got from the si dizzy and no spark
Is there any way of me testing to see if its just the cap or wires with out just going to buy new ones

stock d15 and a dizzy from a si ..and yea i swaped the two wire and still will not start ....im geting power to it just no spark =(

Don't **** to go buy a new dizzy if I don't need one cause they are 300 from autozone
And they don't let u take it back if that's not it lol

I doubt it's the distributor, because i've already tried three different SI distributors and it's the same thing again.

I'm pretty sure we messed up somewhere.

maybe you have the sensors plugged into the wrong places? i just did the swap on my car and i noticed 3 of the plugs are the same. maybe you guys cut the wrong one or something?? i dont know but hope this helps

same here i tried 2 and no spark and i dont get it cause im eting power to the dizzy.... well what sensor will cause the car to get fuel but no spark =( any one have any more help

make sure all the harness plugs are clicked together also are you using a clip up to obd1? if you are you have to use a obd1 ecu and obd1 dizzy.The obd0 dizzy will not run a obd1 engine with obd1 ecu

i have just the stock si dizzy not a obd1 dizzy and the si ecu and if the harness plug was not in all the way i would not get power going to the dizzy ..right
