Two questions regarding tranny fluid change for my 4 cyl, 2006 Accord SE
Question 1: Is having your transmission power flushed detrimental to the transmission? One dealer ship swears by it in order to get ALL of the old fluid out and the other dealership tech stated, "We don't do that anymore, as Honda America doesn't recommend it anymore," and went on about possible damage due to reverse flow.
Question 2: How easy is this to do on my own? Is there a "how to" somewhere here? Or what manuals should I consult.
At this point, I'm leaning on going to the dealership that suggested the drain and fill, which they charge $130 to do.
Any feedback is greatly appreacited.

Per Honda, drain automatic tranny and refill as needed. I prefer every 15k miles.
No power flushes, EVER!
Drain and fill is about $20 at home.
BTW, My two automatic Civics have 495k miles combined between them. Neither has been flushed or opened before, just followed the severe 15k fluid changes.
