It all depends on what size spacers you put on also.

 

I have 15mm (over 1/2") spacers on my car. Looks normal, flush with the wheel well.

It entirely depends on your wheel offset. If you have high offset wheels, in my case +52, then the spacer will just bring it back down to "normal".

If you try to rock low offset wheels with spacer, that when you get the lowrider-wheel-sticking-out look.

my setup is 15x7 +40 with H&R 25mm spacers on 175/50/15's

 

Measure the horizontal gap between the wheel and the fender in mm. Add a spacer accordingly.

You won't get that vdub look unless you run a wide wheel, low offset, and stretched tires. You need stretch in order to pull it off.

Without that, you'll have to be content with being fairly flush on regular tire sizes and regular wheels.

if you get the tire size i told you to get and lower your car enough and camber in it will not be sticking out at all. do the math.
