Going about 70 on the freeway my eye glasses decide it was a good time to make an exodus from existence. At least one lenes decided and the other just chickened out.

Nothing messes with your balance then riding with one eye closed due to how blurry life is .

 

Try wearing a helmet, someone told my they have a "visor" thingy??, not too sure what that is though.

yea but if he is as blind as I am, loosing one of the lenses SUCKS terribly and you cant see a damn thing.

 

Hmm, I took a count, only 2 of my 4 helmets has one of those new fangled visor thingies.

Sounds like it's time to upgrade the riding gear to include some prescription sunglasses with croakies. Edit - Not the metal framed kind, I supposed, they might be suicidal like the last pair.

Hell, I've lost a contact lens on a group ride through ACH once. Getting back using only one good eye was nuts. After that I carried spares (they were the disposable variety).

 

I once lost the remote control of my garage...and only realized it after being parked for like 15 minutes going through all of the pockets in my gear.

 

I wear a helmet smart guy. In real life there is something called gravity tends to make **** fall at a rate of 9.8m/s.
New glasses for sure, can't wear contacts with my allergies in this state or for certain i would.

 

Actually, that's 9.8m/s^2.

Can you take Claritin or Alavert? I do this during the summer before rides. Nothing's worse than runny noses in a full-face helmet. Well, except sneezing into one, maybe...

 

i can't see five feet in front of me without contacts or glasses, if i ever lost one while riding i would rather get my phone out and wait for a ride than keep going, double vision sux, i haven't lost a lens while riding yet (knock on wood) i have had to walk around the mall a few times with one eye and that's enough to make me woozy...ugghhh i just shudder at the thought of having to ride like that, and now i have nightmares

 

Damn, that sucks. I wear contacts, -5.50 in both eyes. I've had this on going fear about tearing a contact while riding, haha. This thread doesn't help.

 

Yeah, I lost a GPR steering damper once on the 10 freeway in downtown. Loctite FTW, FML FTL

 

my brothers tail light and license plate fell off his bobber a couple weeks ago when we were ripping around town, cheap L bracket broke, hardtails vibrate alot
