Default My 200k+ Miles ITR

Hey H-T Guys and Gals...

It's been a long time since I've posted on here (got a bit depressing w/ all the thefts, etc.). However, I've always enjoyed the good posts and thought I'd share that my '98 ITR CW #853 passed 200k a while back. Below is a link of it turning - pretty big day for the R that's still running strong w/ original motor and no rebuilds...and yes I'm the original owner too!

I love this caR

Haha - 2 timing belts though 1 more should be around the corner.

Crazy to think I've had this car for over a decade now and it still brings a smile to my face everytime!

These engines are super reliable - after my experience with it I'd definitely say that as long as you take care of it you can go well past 200k.

That is nuts! So do you still redline and drive it hard? Does it burn oil?

Yeah it still pulls hard all the way to Redline so it's still "too much damn fun"

Years ago, I was going through Mobil1 quicker than usual, but after I switched to AMSOIL it's been great!

I almost bought a 01 PY R with 160k on it a few months back from the first owner. Mileage is just a number if it was always maintained correctly.

Very impressive. It sounds well taken care of. Let us know when you hit 300k!
