Dual point to multi point problem need help ASAP
Just got done doing a multi to dual point swap. Had to pin swap and all of that making the 1.5 harness work with 1.6. My problem is I have no injector pulse on number one injector. All the other three work fine. Any suggestions would be awesome thanks......
I will left the shop got pissed off with the whole deal. I thought even if the injector was bad with noide light plugged in at injector plug it would pulse the light like the other three do. tomorrow is another day I guess..
Yeah, NOID will light even if the injector is bad.
The ECU grounds the injector, which receives power through the injector resistor box and PGMFI relay. Your other injectors are getting power, so you know the resistor box is getting power. Check for power to the injector plug with a DVOM to make sure the resistor box and hot side wiring are good, if yes, check the other wire has a connection to the ECU, in the correct place.
It's been awhile since I've done an DPFI->MPFI, but IIRC the injector 1 wire is reused from the primary DPFI injector, so just make sure you didn't cut it or relocate it by mistake. The ECU connectors can be tricky.
