I need spark plug wires, cap and rotor and alternator belt. What car can I tell the guy at pep boys to look for to get those parts? Or would the stock single cam stuff work on the b16? It sucks looking for parts.

 

you need to be alot more specific to get any answers roughly what year is the motor? what obd is it? than once i know this i might be able to help you...or someone else

 

i work at autozone and we carry the wires just tell them its a 00 si its all the same..

 

So all of the stuff I mentioned is the same as the 2gen b16? What about fuel filter? Same as well? What other parts are interchangeable? The motor is a jdm Sir motor from the 88-91 hatch in japan for those that dont already know.

 

yeah the guy from vato zone is right as far as for the things listed, but remember that this isnt the same as far as when it comes to your whole dizzy and anything else obd related

 

anything that is mechanical or in any way visually and physically the same can be interchanged between all b16 generations at least thats what i think i could be wrong but like i stated when it comes to obd stuff things get tricky for instance if you need the whole dizzy unit like i am sure you know there wasnt an american obd0 b16 so i believe the dizzy you would use here is out of an ls,rs,gs b18a1 or the b17a1 out of the 92 integra gsr same thing goes for injectors and stuff like that because this is obd related the clips change you know what i am saying so my best bet ask at autozone under a 92 acura integra gsr and again any one can chime in and correct me if im wrong

everything above is right. whenever i buy stuff for my b16 flywheel, plug wires, fuel rail etc. you can ask for parts for 99-00 si civic or a 94 del sol si with the dohc all the same deal.

 

I would stay away from aftermarket cap and rotor and wires. OEM is all you need.

 

90-91 integra cap and rotor
b16 del sol or 99si wires

I would get the part # off the old belt for the alternator, some of the alternators had slightly smaller pulleys and use a shorter belt.

 

well it turns out that 90-93 integra cap and rotor are different. Had to use sohc cap on the dohc distributor. So what alternator belt would work?
