Default H22 into EK do you have to use Accord tranny?

Some one told me that you have to use and Accord tranny if you would like to swap in an H22 into an EK civic. is this true? I put my car up for trade and a guy who is interested and he has and H22 swap and he told me that in order to do the swap he needed to use the Accord tranny.

when using the Accord tranny on the H22 does it affect how much it pulls?

Sorry just a quick stupid question so i can get my facts right.

I have never heard of using a accord tranny always heard of going H or F or even B16 with a H to B kit.

Its low price tag when compared to an H-series tranny.

Assuming you aren't trying for better mileage, the H-series is better, its geared shorter for better acceleration.

Where do you think all those F-series come from? Some came in base model preludes, but most of them came in accords

my buddy use to run an accord trans in his 91Si w/ Hswap and it was fun, but then he got his M2B4 (jdm prelude trans), it made it a world of difference,
