Default Dizzy hole

Whats the worst that can happen with this hole in my dizzy? it was like this when i bought it but diddnt think much of it

Water and or dust can go in, go to dealership and get that gasket. If you need cap as well I think some come as a kit with gasket and cap

Looks like a chunk of the metal came off the dizzy housing. Do you got better pics?

There are supposed to be two rubber plugs
which are part of the cap gasket..

One of them routes the wire to the inside of the distributor
and they also serve as an access hole to the screws that hold the coil in..

Thanks Phil! You can tell I haven't been looking under the hood of the CRX lately, poor little guy is sitting at home since I can't get the darn thing smogged but I will finally get it to pass this Saturday.

the new gasket is only a couple bucks, if you are really desperate fill it with some silicone before something falls in there
