P28 on Boosted SOHC ZC: Doe's not want to start!
EF Si
Stock harness
SOHC ZC
HF turbo set-up
I just received my P28 chipped ECU and I connected it and the car doesnt want to start. I used a jumper harness, and the car just cranks but doesnt turn over.
Any tips?? I dont have a 4 wire o2 sensor so its still running on the 1 wire. Do I need to wire anything else up? Becuase the harness has like 7 more wires for VTEC and such but I dont have VTEC.

cranks but wont turn? lol contradicting yourself there.
i would check the power to the injectors and to the coil, and also check for codes

What do you mean check the power to the injectors? It turns on fine with my D16A6 ECU though.
Do I need an OBD1 Dizzy??
yes cause the a6 does not have the capabilities that an obd1 sohc dizzy does. plus it has that infamous green/yellow wire as well. that was a 100 dollar mistake i would try to save any one from doing again besides me lol
Does the green/yellow wire have to be wired up to the ECU?
And do I just match up the wires on the dizzy to the old OBD0 wires on the dizzy plug?
Here are the extra wires on the harness:
Wire Color/Function
BLUE- O2 SENSOR HEATER CONTROL
WHITE- O2 SENSOR SIGNAL
VIOLET- VTEC SOLENOID SIGNAL
GRAY- VTEC PRESSURE SWITCH SIGNAL
GREEN- INTAKE AIR BYPASS SIGNAL
ORANGE- KNOCK SENSOR SIGNAL
RED- POWER (IAB, O2 BLK WIRE)
BLACK- GROUND
YELLOW- SERVICE CHECK SIGNAL
DISTRIBUTOR WIRING
THICK WHITE--YELLOW GREEN
THIN WHITE--WHITE
ORANGE--ORANGE
WHITE/BLUE--WHITE BLUE
BLUE/YELLOW--BLUE YELLOW
BLUE/GREEN--BLUE GREEN

WAIT! STOP RIGHT THERE!

Thanks!
I got the OBD1 dizzy but I can only get one of the bolts to line up. Is that the way its supposed to be?

This is the only way I could line up the dizzy to use two bolts. I believe I found another way, but only the top bolt would thread. So this is the firing order I have it at now, is it okay?? And it still doenst want to start.

You can try to swap the internals of the OBD1 dizzy into your pre OBD dizzy. I'm assuming you got the Z6 specific dizzy and that's the odd ball D-Series dizzy because it has one off mounting leg.
I'm guessing your OBD1 dizzy is from a Z6.
The Z6 has the oddball bolt pattern. Try a dizzy from anything other than the OBD1 Civic Si/EX. DX should bolt right on up!
Get a 4 wire O2. I know you are chipped, but i'm figuring you are still going to throw a code. Codes + turbo = not a good thing.
As as far as the ECU goes - is the base map on the chip set up for your engine?
If it's not, then I suggest you get a good base map before you even start it up. You are screaming for major problems if you are running wrong tunes.
