i want to know if its true that ek side mirrors fit eg's cause i seen a eg with side mirrors and wanted to know if anyone can confirm it. also want to know if the rear spoilers of the ek hatch fit on the eg's hatch. thanks

 

ek spoilers are not a direct fit on to EGs. Never tried ek side mirrors on eg either. Search?

 

I doubt it. If EG mirrors fit on an EK then EG mirrors would probably fit on an EK which would lead to everyone getting rid of their ugly *** EK mirrors. Even if you could, why would you want to put on EK mirrors?

 

i heard they do fit.. but you have to drill the 3 new holes for the bolts to go through..

yes they will fit but you have to drill holes ive got cf mirrors off an ek on 1 of my egs

you have an em1 and you cant afford ctr mirrors?
eg mirrors look like eggs, they are round. the design doesnt go with the flow of the car. thatll be a really good way to mess up an Si in my opinion.

 

yes they fit but look like complete *** on the eg.

 

EG mirrors are ugly, the EK mirrors look kinda like the "spoon" mirrors you see on eBay, but bigger. Not a great match with the EG bodystyle, but better looking than the EG style ones.

 

EG mirrors on an Si, I can see it now... the hard lines of an EM1 with the round bubbleness of the EG mirrors... eeewwww.

what does that have to do with ek mirrors on eg's....

 

I recall seeing a write-up on a conversion, can't recall which years the mirrors/body were. IIRC they had a template for the mirrors, then you just connect the wires if you have power. All you'd really have to do is mark some paper with the outline and bolt holes of the new mirror, then transfer them to your door by setting it on & drilling. Just make sure you make the holes a little big, so you can adjust them if needed.

this is true, however i bought my Si in 02 for 14K and its been paid off for 5 years. since then ive had a kid(expensive pets) and i cant afford all the things i really want at the moment seeing as ive got custody of my 2 year old and dont get any child support from his piece of **** mother. anyways i dont have that much extra money after taking care of his needs and my bills. EG mirrors may turn out to be ugly as hell on there, but have you actually seen them? if they look like poop then i can take them off, its not a permanent placement. some people may like the way they look on there though, we'll see.

 

as long as that statement was, it took this project from risky to its worth a shot.

what about the wing of the ek on a eg i seen it on a picture but i cant post it on here cause the guy does not want his eg posted here. so has anyone seen it or done it with pictures

 

why dont you just buy a eg wing?
its not like its cheaper buying a ek wing
