I have a question...
Do the Wagons and sedans have different trans gearing?

I have a '91 wagon and after driving her '92 sedan, it seemed like it needed to shift again at around 50 MPH. My wagon doesnt seem that way. Is the RPM's at 3K at 55-60 MPH normal?

Mine is at 2.5K @ 60 mph, 3K @ 70.

Edit - It is 93 LX automatic sedan.

 

My 92 EX 2.2 S/W also do 2.5K @ 65 and 3K at 70.

 

90-91 had the sport button and 92-93 didn't on auto and no difference in manuel trans

 

may not be shifting into overdrive , thats all i can think of, rpm about 500 to high for 60
